Connecting with the Community

While working on the Developer Relations team at HERE, part of my role was brainstorming and executing ideas to drive developer engagement and use of the HERE Platform. My vision was to grow and support a community of developers, provide a space for troubleshooting, and promote our own HERE Developer Evangelists as knowledge resources.

I built, produced, and directed a full livestreaming studio from across the world. We had evangelists in Seattle, California, Louisiana, Berlin, and India live on-stream to demonstrate, build, and interact with the HERE community. I developed multiple series with different hosts and evangelists that focused on specific aspects of our platform and services.

Growing our Reach

After the success of our main series’ first season, HERE AWS and Azure teams consulted with me to design new series to focus on their products. I implemented cross-collaborative shows with the AWS and HERE Twitch channels.

During the onset of COVID, I created and directed a twice-a-week series called “Home Office Hours” for direct troubleshooting with our HERE community and off topic discussions. My favorite episodes from this series incorporated playing location-based games and connecting them to our Platform.

I drove over 700 new followers and 14k views on our Twitch Channel, and over 400k views on post-episode content on YouTube.
